What we collect, and why
| What | Why | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| Birth date, time and place, name, mobile and vehicle number you type for a kundali or numerology chart | To calculate the chart. Sent to our server, used for that one calculation, and not stored. | Not kept |
| Saved charts | Kept only in your own browser on your own device, never on our server. You can export or delete them. | Until you delete them or clear the browser's data |
| Your question and calculated chart evidence for AI readings | Generating a full Kundali automatically prepares its written reading in the background. Cloud mode sends computed evidence, and your question when you ask one, to Anthropic directly or through OpenRouter according to the server configuration. A separate request checks the written sentences against that evidence. Providers handle that data under their own terms. Local-only Ollama processes it on this computer. Automatic mode tries the cloud first, then local Ollama if the cloud service fails. The app excludes your name, birthplace and raw birth date/time from AI facts; anything you type in a question remains part of that question. | Questions are not saved by the app. Report jobs and generated readings are temporarily held in server memory, expire after one hour, and are removed on access/cleanup or server restart. A chart you save in your browser can retain its reading until you delete it. |
| Cloud request metadata: request identifier, model, token counts and spending reservations | To enforce this app's spending limits and reconcile service usage. These records contain no birth inputs, questions, report prose or API keys. | Stored locally by the operator until removed |
| Mobile number and name (if you sign in to book a pandit or to join as one) | To sign you in with a one-time code and to let the family and the pandit reach each other after a booking is accepted. | Until you delete your account |
| Pandit profile: name, education, experience, languages, PIN code, area served, poojas and prices | To show the profile to families searching nearby. The pandit's phone number is not shown in search results. | Until the pandit deletes the account |
| Bookings: pooja, date, time, address, PIN code, note, prices | To pass the request to the pandit. The full address and both phone numbers are shared only after the pandit accepts. | Kept as a record of the booking; the address and note are removed if the family deletes its account |
| Reviews | Shown on the pandit's profile without the reviewer's name. | Until removed |
| Complaints | To answer them and to keep the record the law asks for. | As required by law |
| Your internet address | Used in memory for request limits, daily cloud allowance and access to your report jobs. | Temporary application memory; hosting access-log retention depends on the operator |
We do not sell personal data, show advertising, or use analytics or tracking services. We never ask for Aadhaar or other identity documents through the site; the team checks a pandit's identity directly.
Cookies and storage
One cookie keeps you signed in (for 30 days). Your browser also stores your language choice and, if you save them, your charts. A local-only preference saved by an earlier version is still honoured; otherwise the server's configured provider is used.
Your choices
- Use the kundali, matching, panchang and numerology without signing in.
- Delete your account at any time (For pandits → Delete my account). This removes your name, number, profile and addresses, and cancels open bookings.
- Ask for a copy or correction of your data, or complain, through the grievance page.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Sign-in codes and session keys are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form. If a data breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
