LICENCES

1. Code: GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 or later (LICENSE).
Every .py, .js, .css and .html file carries an SPDX header saying so. If you run a modified version for users
over a network, you must offer them its complete source (AGPL section 13).

2. Written content: Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (LICENSE-CONTENT).
This covers the plain-language readings, paraphrases of classical texts, remedy texts, numerology texts,
pooja catalogue and the Hindi translation catalogue:

Whether content loaded by an AGPL program can carry a separate licence has not been checked by a lawyer.
The classical works themselves (BPHS, Phaladeepika, Brihat Jataka, Muhurta Chintamani, the Vedas and others) are
centuries old; what is licensed here is this project's own wording, not the works.

why the whole project is AGPL. https://www.astro.com/swisseph/
